Raising awareness for epilepsy

Purple Day! Creating awareness globally every year on March 26th by wearing  purple. Purple Day was founded in 2008, by nine-year-old Cassidy Megan of Nova Scotia, Canada. Motivated by her own struggles with epilepsy, Cassidy started Purple Day in an effort to get people talking about the disorder and inform those with seizures that they are not alone.

Wow it just gets you thinking of how powerful your thoughts and actions can really be. An 8 year old pushed for this and proved anything is possible.  Help create awareness for epilepsy by wearing the colour purple or the purple ribbon, but don’t stop there, if you are really passionate about this cause, get adventurous and maybe even colour your hair!
